Job Title:Grants Supervisor Contract Type: 18-Month Fixed Term Contract Job Description: Our client is seeking a Temporary Grants Administration Supervisor for an 18-month fixed-term contract. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end administration of grants, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and supporting audits and reporting processes. Job Responsibilities: Manage the complete grants administration process, including compliance with drawdown schedules and payments. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for grant-related activities and claims. Process sales and purchase invoices, grant claims, and EFT payment files. Prepare and review grant reporting, reconciliations, and analyses. Act as the primary contact for the Department of Transport, internal teams, and auditors. Oversee the month-end grants process and ensure robust internal controls. Provide support for financial statements, annual budgets, and audits. Collaborate on continuous improvement projects, including system upgrades and process optimisation. Mentor and manage team members, ensuring efficient workflow. Experience Required: Minimum 5 years experience in grant management, finance, or compliance, including 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proven experience with financial management, compliance, and audit processes. Stakeholder management experience, building effective internal and external relationships. Proficiency in IT tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Desirable Skills: Public sector experience is advantageous. Educational Requirements: Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience in finance or grant administration.
