Town Planner (Environmental) Dublin Flexibility (details available) Leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, established over 50 years, has an excellent permanent opportunity for a Town Planner with Environmental experience (2+years) to join their expanding environmental team. The successful individual will have good knowledge of environmental legislation and the Irish planning system. The successful individual will have the following: Relevant 3rd level Planning / Environmental science qualification (BSc, BA, MSc) 2+ years experience working ideally in planning consultancy or similar. Knowledge of EIA and SEA processes Good knowledge of environmental legislation and the Irish planning system and the interaction between both. Excellent IT skills, including MS office suite. Experience using GIS and membership to Irish Planning Institute or similar would be advantageous. Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills are essential. Responsibilities of the role will include: Prepare plan environmental appraisal of sites Prepare inputs to EIAs and SEAs Preparation of supporting documentation for feasibility studies and planning applications.
