Job Description We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our New Product Development initiatives in Ballina, Ireland. This pivotal role will drive innovation and guide cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch. Develop and implement comprehensive programme plans for NPD projects, aligning with organisational goals and strategies Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment Manage programme budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and utilisation Identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process, implementing effective solutions Collaborate with customers at all levels, including senior management, to ensure programme success and alignment with business objectives Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation to market launch, ensuring quality and timely delivery Analyse market trends and customer feedback to inform product development strategies Establish and monitor key metrics to measure programme success and drive continuous improvement Present regular progress reports and updates to senior management and key partners. Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing across teams and departments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 5-7 years of experience in programme management or product development roles Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects or programmes Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) Expertise in product development lifecycle management Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and risk management Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams In-depth understanding of industry trends and best practices in NPD Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management (depending on the industry) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach Additional Information LGC is a top life science tools company, offering important solutions in growing markets.
