Meath Salary Competitive based on experience About the Role: Our client based in County Meath is currently looking for a Production Planner able to develop and manage production schedules to ensure that all production deadlines are met. This is a great opportunity that will suit a person who is wanting to join an expanding global company and develop their knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing industry further. Key Responsibilities: Co-ordinate the daily, weekly and monthly production schedules. Managing the control and sequencing of work orders within production. To highlight any potential bottlenecks to make sure that the correct procedures are taken in order to get a resolution. Develop and monitor the inventory and keep note of shortages and highlight areas of concern. Communicate effectively with the wider team To provide production updates and to manage the deadlines. To work as part of a team in order to minimise risk and to enhance performance. Maintain deadlines in a professional manner and forecasting planning reports. Experience Required: Degree certified in a relevant subject. 2+ years Production Planning experience within the manufacturing industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills and team player. Ability to use data and management information planning. Ability to work on your own and within a Team Environment.
