Role Title: UX Designer Role Location: Abbey Street, Dublin Company: Vhi Group Services Vhi is hiring a Mid-Level UX Designer (full-time, 2-year contract) with 2+ years of experience to design intuitive, accessible experiences for mobile apps and desktop, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support user and business needs. Benefits: Hybrid working opportunities Health Insurance Performance related pay Company pension And many more Role Purpose Design & Prototyping Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for web and mobile app experiences. Collaboration & Delivery Work with product managers, developers, and UX researchers to deliver user-centred solutions. Data-Driven UX Synthesise insights from research, analytics, and business requirements to inform effective design solutions. User & Business Alignment Translate customer needs, motivations, and behaviours into designs that balance user insights with business objectives. Education & Experience Experience 24 years of working experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centred solutions. UX, Interaction & Mobile Design Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, iOS (HIG) and Android (Material Design) guidelines, and design systems. Accessibility & Standards Strong knowledge of WCAG standards and best practices. Agile & Software Development Familiarity with agile delivery and software development lifecycle methodologies. Stakeholder Collaboration Ability to communicate and collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals. Demonstrated alignment to Vhi values Skills and Abilities Design Tools & Prototyping Proficient in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for wireframing and prototyping. UX & Interaction Design Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user empathy. User Research & Insights Ability to conduct and interpret user research to inform design decisions. Time Management & Problem-Solving Strong organisational skills with a problem-solving mindset in UX challenges.
