Crosshire is a key division here at HSS Hire Ireland Ltd. If theres a piece of equipment that our customer needs and we dont stock within our own fleet, we liaise with our valued supplier network to find a solution for the customer. The Crosshire Controller / Administrator will join a small existing Crosshire team, reporting directly to Crosshire team-lead, and will play a key role in the smooth running of the Crosshire function. This role is a full-time permanent contract and is largely office based in Portarlington, Co. Laois. We also provide life assurance of twice your annual salary and access to our benefits portal with a range of options such as cycle to work scheme Key Responsibilities Raising orders on system with both customer and supplier Liaising with suppliers frequently to check stock availability, confirming collection from site etc. Reconciling supplier live hire lists to our own system to ensure all equipment is accounted for Checking customer invoicing thoroughly before release Ensuring margin control and liaising with Accounts Payable team on invoices in query Skills & Experience This is a bespoke role specific to the hire industry but the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced finance/operational/sales role and used to dealing with large volumes of orders. Exceptional problem-solving skills and passion for data integrity and process definition Strong analytical skills with high competency in Microsoft Excel would be an advantage Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with existing team Capacity to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards and effective time management. Energetic with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within a high-growth business. Commitment to diversity, be risk aware and always apply a right-first-time mindset. Excellent oral and written communication fluency in English is a key requirement.
