The Role: We are seeking an Assistant CE Supervisor to join our Community Employment (CE) Scheme team in Wexford and Waterford. Reporting to the CE Supervisor. The post holder will report to the CE Supervisor and will assist in the efficient coordination of human, financial, and material resources to support the scheme's participants in their training and development journey. Key responsibilities include preparing financial returns, supervising participants, planning schedules, ensuring GDPR compliance, and providing cover for the CE Supervisor. The role requires strong administrative skills, teamwork, and a good understanding of community activities and employment schemes. The ideal candidates will possess the following: EXPERIENCE Job Holder Assistant supervisor must have previous office management/supervisory experience, be computer literate with the necessary skills to undertake all of the administration duties required for the scheme at this level, be able to work as part of a team, have knowledge of community activities and work and have good communication and inter - personal skills. KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of needs and issues of the poor and disadvantaged. Knowledge of the Society and of its mission and values. Have a reasonable knowledge of community employment Have a reasonable knowledge of community employment assistant supervisor role SKILLS Excellent organisation and administrative skills Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills An ability to work well under pressure, resilient. Proficient in IT - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. An ability to display empathy, patience and a well-developed sense of humour. Ability to be flexible in approach and towards the role. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
