Job Description Applications are invited for the above permanent full-time position. Part Time Options may be considered. A panel will be formed from which other permanent or temporary posts may be filled. Role Purpose We are seeking energetic, flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic Speech & Language Therapists to join our CDNT and to provide quality, evidence-based, and family-centred Speech and Language Therapy service to children and young people (0 - 18 years) with complex needs within an interdisciplinary framework. The Speech and Language Therapist will join a well established SLT team on the CDNT and will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with complex needs and their families. Professional clinical supervision will be provided. Continuous Professional Development opportunities will be provided. Candidates must meet the following criteria relevant to the role: Role requirements Essential Criteria Hold a qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board at CORU. Practitioners must maintain annual CORU registration. Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Effective planning, organisational and time management skills. Desirable Criteria Experience of working with children and adolescents with a range of disabilities. Practice with disorders of Feeding, Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing (FEDS). Experience of inter-disciplinary team working. Evidence of participation in continuous professional development. Have a full driving licence and access to a car.
