Afterschool Coordinator

Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare LTD is looking for two permanent Afterschool Coordinators to join the team this coming September 2024, based in Lusk, Co.Dublin.

We are offering two positions Monday – Friday.
Position one – 1pm – 6pm (25 hours per week)
Position two – 1pm – 6.30pm (27.5 hours per week)

Salary – Competitive and based on experience

Roles & Responsibilities;
–To work with afterschool children assisting in the planning and implementation of age appropriate and stimulating activities, which are based on the interests of the particular groups of children.
-To maintain appropriate safe and clean environments
-To adhere to the policies of the service and relevant legislation
-To serve and supervise mealtimes (meals will be delivered)
-To accompany children to and from school on foot, 5 mins walk.

The ideal candidate will have;
– Minimum Fetac Level 5- Supervision in Childcare/Early Childhood Care and Education desirable
– A good understanding of all relative guidelines and regulations
-First Aid, Manual Handling and Child protection & food hygiene (all desirable but not essential).
– Experience with school aged children
