We want you to become the best version of yourself. Business partner with the Commercial team to support them in meeting their strategic and financial targets in relation to channel sales and Opex. Join us as a Commercial Finance Analyst Work closely with wider Commercial Finance and Financial Reporting teams to ensure all transactions are recorded in monthly P&L accurately and on a timely basis. Work with the Commercial Finance Lead and Finance Manager to prepare robust budgets/forecasts. What Else It Involves Provide financial support by partnering with the Commercial team and dealing with the relevant business owners. Working with Sales and Propositions team to understand the data from the reports and any corrective action needed. Establish and maintain relationships with Third Party Channel Sales teams, Retail Stores, Direct Channels and Marketing team. Work with the Pricing teams on monthly pricing and calculation of the projected cost of acquisitions (CAC). Maintain Commercial Opex budget and provide support and analysis on variances to plan. Produce weekly / monthly reporting packs on individual channel performance. Liaise with the Commissions team in the calculation, payment and reporting of commissions. Preparation of monthly commercial and KPI bulletins for review and distribution to third parties. Engage and partner with the Commercial teams on new initiatives. Perform deep dive analysis from time to time to identify key drivers trends. Support the delivery of robust budgets, forecasts and business plans for the CAC and Commercial areas and assist with the overall submissions to Group. Identify and implement process and control improvements across the business. Assist with year-end financial requests and statutory audit. Preparation of regulatory Comreg reports on a quarterly regulatory reports. The Skills We're Looking for Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Excellent commercial awareness and financial judgement on commercial decisions. Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, h-lookups etc.). Oracle/Hyperion experience an advantage. Attention to detail and accuracy. Energetic and pro-active with a can do attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with cross functional teams at all levels. Previous telecommunications or MNC experience an advantage. Results driven with a proven track record of operating in a dynamic and demanding environment. Creative thinking -looks for solutions.
