We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our Data Analytics team in Musgrave. The Scrum Master is a newly created position and will be responsible for facilitating the team’s Agile process and ensuring that the team meets its goals.

  • Agile Leadership: Guide and coach, the team on Agile and Scrum practices, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality product delivery.
  • Project Facilitation: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
  • Product Liaison: Act as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and development of the Scrum framework within the team.
  • Team Empowerment: Empower the team to self-organize and make impactful decisions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks and impediments to the team`s progress. Respond/take actions to show continuous improvement.
  • Be the primary point of contact to various stakeholders, on behalf of the Data team and identify the data solution requirements for the development team.
  • Conduct business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, wire frames, documentation of features and gap analysis.
  • Develop and maintain data-related documentation and requirements.3 - 5 years of business experience as a Scrum Master for a software development or data analytics team.
  • A third level qualification in Computer Science, Analytics, IT (or equivalent qualification) would be an advantage.
  • Professional Scrum Master (or equivalent Scrum Master) or Professional Product Owner certification.
  • Experience as a project manager for a software development or data analytics team.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodology and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Kanban boards, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment, demonstrate good attention to detail and demonstrate good judgment through logical decision making.
