Your Role: As a Development Manager, you will: Build and lead a new agile scrum team, including developers, architects, and quality analysts. Drive the development of a future-state unified platform. Take full ownership of team KPIs (velocity, capacity, bug rates, etc.). Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a matrix-managed structure. Balance business and technical priorities to ensure delivery of high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: Lead hiring and continually improve development processes for your team. Provide technical and leadership expertise across multiple development teams. Oversee all team KPIs including quality, productivity, and technical debt. Collaborate with product owners to balance feature development with security and non-functional requirements. Implement solutions that balance functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years in Software Development, including 5+ years in leadership/management roles. Expertise in PHP (Laravel), JavaScript (React, AngularJS), HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap. Experience with relational databases (MySQL), web services (REST, SOAP). Proficiency in tools like Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Jira, TFS, VSTS. Deep understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and architectural frameworks. Proven track record of leading teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field. Strong customer focus and experience managing client-facing software solutions. Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) is a plus. Experience working in a high-pressure environment, meeting deadlines, and driving value creation. Skills: Laravel PHP LAMP
