Post 1853 - Clinical Nurse Manager I Dublin(NBC) Post 1853 Clinical Nurse Manager I Nursing Department Full Time Specified Purpose Contract National Blood Centre, Dublin 8 The IBTS is currently recruiting a full-time, temporary Clinical Nurse Manager I based in the Nursing Department, National Blood Centre. The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) operates nurse-led collection clinics, managed by a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM). The role of the Clinical Nurse Manager I on the DOlier St. team is to work with the Clinical Nurse Manager II and the local management team (CNM 3, Registered Nurses and Team Leaders) to support the IBTS strategic priorities with regard to achieving operational excellence, improving customer (donor) experience and supporting better healthcare, ensuring compliance with current legislative requirements. The Clinical Nurse Manager I is expected at all times to practice within the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Code of Practice and Scope of Practice and within the IBTS Quality System and Code of Conduct. Essential Criteria: To be registered with NMBI in the General Division To have name maintained on the live register of NMBI Have at least 3 years post registration experience two of which must be in relevant clinical practice Previous management experience Evidence of recent (last 12 months) continuous professional development Desirable Criteria: Full Driving Licence Management / Leadership qualification or the commitment to undertake a Management / Leadership course The salary scale attached to the post is the Clinical Nurse Manager I scale €56,081 to €66,045 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum. Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant experience. The closing date for receipt of applications is 23:45 PM (Irish Time) on 30th March 2025.
