Product Engineer: Your tasks and responsibilities: Deliver technical support to the manufacturing and testing of medical device instrumentation in a low volume, high complexity, and regulated environment. Deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability. Work with R&D, manufacturing operations, quality, procurement, and logistics to deliver product and supply base improvements to meet business needs. Work within a dynamic engineering change environment; actively supporting New Product Introductions and engineering design change activities. Your qualifications and experience: Bachelors degree in engineering (QQI level 8) with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Consideration will also be given to individuals with alternative degrees if balanced by relevant technical experience. Structured analysis skills with experience in complex technical troubleshooting. Strong manufacturing, mechanical/ electromechanical / systems design skillset. Experience with Test method characterization and Test method validation; Supported by statistical knowledge. Your attributes and skills: You have an overall ability to combine technical, design and manufacturing skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong project management skills and the ability to initiate and lead product optimization projects on a cross-functional and cross-site basis. Problem solving, planning, analytical skills. Ability to collate, analyze and summarize large amounts of data for decision making. You are someone who shows initiative and is creative. Must Have's: Any applicant must be residing in North County Dublin (or commutable), have an existing work permit/ visa to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 or EU passport), and be fluent in English written and verbal.
