My client, one of Irelands leading Civil Engineering contractors are now searching for a Quantity Surveyor of all levels to work on the Adare Bypass Project in Limerick. Role: Advise on contractual matters general and project level. Process contractual claims and all associated records. Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost and identify and investigate losses. Assist with project cash management. Advise and support with project correspondence. Negotiate and agree subcontractors. Negotiating subcontract and suppliers prices and terms. Ensure final accounts are closed in a timely manner. Ensure timely drafting of commercial/contractual correspondence. Prepare subcontract and suppliers documents. Prepare and review monthly cost reports. Ensure Risk Registers, variation trackers and extension of time tracker sheets are reviewed and updated monthly and included within monthly reports. Negotiating subcontractors and suppliers final accounts. Variations: Measurement and pricing. Variations: Negotiate with client, quantity surveyor and subcontractor Requirements: At least 3-4 years experience in Ireland or the UK on civil engineering projects Must have a Construction or Quantity Surveying qualification. An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets. Good IT skills with competency using Cubit, Cost-ex or equivalent, Microsoft Word and Excel A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills. Ability co-ordinate several different projects at the same time. An understanding and experience of construction procedures, methodology & specifications is essential.
