We are currently seeking to recruit Instrumentation Technicians to join a project based on site in Raheen, Duties will include, but not limited to: Capable of successfully working within a team while having the initiative to self-resolve issues. Reviewing and understanding technical manuals and engineering documentation in relation to the scope of works. Carry out installation works in Ex areas to the required standards. Note: Compex training will be provided to successful candidate as required. Familiarity with Scada/DCS systems for the carrying out of commissioning works on the completed install. Ability to recognize system and equipment deficiencies and take corrective action. Identification of required safety measures for all ongoing activities. Maintenance calibration of field instrumentation. Testing and maintenance of F&G, ESD and Control Systems. Upholding precise inspection and test records to comply with current legislation, plant safety and internal/external quality requirements. Requirements / Skills: Craft certificate in Instrumentation (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years experience. Experience as an instrumentation lead would be a distinct advantage. Excellent communication skills are essential. Organisational skills & Attention to detail. General electrical & instrumentation experience (motors, control circuits, variable frequency drives, PLC interfacing, wiring and interlocking). Foundation Fieldbus experience beneficial. Compex Certified, if not training course will be provided. Knowledge and experience of MS applications & PC based applications. Ability to work to tight schedules and achieve KPIs as directed by management.
