Location: Kilkenny Compensation:up to€40,000 Job type: Full-time/Part-time Our client is looking to hire an experienced Payroll professional to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be involved in carrying out payroll from around 100 staff, revolving issues, approving timesheets and managing debtor/creditors. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, tax deductions, and pension contributions. Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies. Complete revenue payments on ROS system. Manage debtor and creditor accounts, ensuring timely payments and accurate records. Process invoices, payments, and bank transactions related to payroll. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related queries. Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and company policies. Generate reports for management on payroll expenses and outstanding balances. Proficient in TMS Advance Systems Assist with audits and year-end payroll processes. Key Requirements: Previous experience in a payrollor similar finance-related role. Proficiency in Sage Micropay payroll systems. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and statutory deductions. Excellent numerical skills with a high level of accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with other payroll software or ERP systems. Professional payroll certification (e.g., IPASS) is a plus.
