Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Portarlington, Permanent, full time. Mon-Fri The Accounts Payable Clerk will join a small existing accounts payable team, reporting directly to our Management Accountant, and will play a key role in the smooth running of the AP function. This role is a full-time permanent contract and is largely office based in Co. Laois. We also provide life assurance of twice your annual salary and access to our benefits portal with a range of options such as cycle to work scheme Key Responsibilities: Processing of supplier invoices; Assist with creditor reconciliations together with follow-up Processing of weekly supplier payment run Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes Ad hoc administrative requests together with supporting the wider HSS team Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced Accounts Payable / Shared Service Centre environment a strong plus Strong analytical skills with high competency in Microsoft office products. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with existing team Capacity to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards and effective time management. Energetic with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within a high-growth business. Commitment to diversity, be risk aware and always apply a right-first-time mindset. Excellent oral and written communication fluency in English is a key requirement. Exceptional problem-solving skills and passion for data integrity and process definition. Track record of hands-on activity and achievement of goals, with a flexible, can-do attitude, combined with a high degree of resilience and a maturity of judgement.
