About the role As a result of the continued growth of the firm and exciting plans for further expansion in Ireland, RSM Ireland are recruiting a Graduate or Part Qualified professional to join our tax team as an Indirect Tax Associate. This position offers challenging, interesting, and rewarding work within a global network organisation and would allow the successful candidate to develop core specialisms across Indirect Tax, including VAT and RCT. We will offer full exam support for the successful candidate, including continued in-house tax technical training and other L&D supports as part of our graduate programme. Responsibilities: Preparing VAT returns on a portfolio of clients across a range of industries, including VAT3, RTD, VIES, Intrastat and OSS. Working closing with our management and partners in the delivery of indirect tax consultancy projects across a range of industries. Developing strong relationships with our clients and international RSM colleagues. About the ideal candidate The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Part qualified ACA/ACCA/ITI candidate with +1 years' experience in a VAT role or accounting role involving VAT functions. No prior experience is required for a candidate joining as a Graduate Excellent technical/analytical and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility and a team player. Ability to work on own initiative taking work to completion stage for manager review.
