Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Transport Mechanic will work with the team to complete all HGV motor mechanical activities. Role Responsibilities are detailed below: Preparation of vehicles for CVRT testing, and quarterly inspections. Provide training and advice to apprentices and co-workers as required Be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment Work well under pressure while maintaining efficiency and productivity Have a flexible approach to work and be willing to work overtime if required Ordering of parts and consumables and ensuring stock levels of critical parts is maintained Complying with all relevant Health & Safety regulations Experience and Knowledge: Qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic (QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent) Must have C1 Driving Licence Should have experience in all aspects of vehicle and trailer servicing and diagnostics At least 5 years industry experience Excellent knowledge of CVRT requirements in HGVs Skills: HGV Mechanic CVRT Transport Mechanic
