Director (Quantity Surveying Background)

ProSource are seeking a Director with a Quantity Surveying background on behalf of a steadily expanding Cost and Project Management Consultancy based in Dublin, known for delivering outstanding services across commercial, residential, healthcare, infrastructure, and public sectors. Responsibilities Providing strategic leadership and direction for the company, contributing to the development and execution of business plans. Leading multiple high-profile projects, ensuring delivery excellence, profitability, and client satisfaction. Overseeing all cost management activities, including cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting, across diverse project portfolios. Managing and mentoring senior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and understanding their strategic needs. Identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving growth and diversification within the market. Representing the company in negotiations, presentations, and industry forums, enhancing its profile and reputation. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices. Monitoring market trends and advising on strategic adjustments to maintain a competitive edge. Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, systems, and methodologies within the business. Requirements A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field, with MRICS, MSCSI, or similar professional accreditation. A minimum of 20 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or project management, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience delivering complex projects across multiple sectors. A proven track record of business development, client relationship management, and achieving financial targets. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide high-performing teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. In-depth knowledge of Irish construction regulations, contracts, and procurement processes. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
