The purpose of this role is to enable the delivery of the Musgrave strategy through supporting a pipeline of customer-centric, world class innovations which will deliver new growth and new revenue for Musgrave. The successful candidate will support initiatives across the business using Design Thinking methodologies to make outcomes of projects more customer-centric, more innovative, faster to market and have longer lasting results. Reporting to Senior Experience Designer they will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Senior Experience Designer in the organization and delivery of service design projects which includes:
    • Conducting in-depth research with users
    • Facilitating ideation sessions with cross functional teams
    • Documenting outcomes
    • Journey mapping processes
    • Formulation of prototyping plans
    • Coordination of projects including full user insights and reporting on outcomes and recommendations
  • Working with project owners to support a future vision and priorities for service and product transformation.
  • Effectively present research/project findings using diverse set of methods in an engaging and inspiring way and with very clear actions and recommendations based on the learnings.
  • Coordinate projects’ internal process including purchase orders administration, recruiting requests, project files management, incentives ordering, etc.
  • Support and/or facilitate workshops with various parts of the business as needed.
  • Support the promotion the Service Design/Design Thinking methodology and upskilling relevant people in the business to become more customer centric and innovative.
  • Constantly self-upskilling in the area of innovation/Service Design to lead the way in new approaches in the Insight & Innovation Department and Musgrave and be seen to be a true world-class leader of Experience Design.
The ideal candidate will have/be:

The successful candidate will have some or most of the following:

  • A third level Degree ideally in Marketing, Business, Innovation or Design or some related discipline where user understanding is key.
  • 1 or more years of hands-on Service Design/Design thinking, Insights, Innovation or UX experience would be helpful.
  • Strong project management skills including problem-solving abilities.
  • A solid grasp of planning and conducting user research.
  • Designing and facilitating (remote/in person) workshops for brainstorming, ideation, synthesis and mapping would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communications skills including verbal and written, change management skills, ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic results driven organisation.
  • A passion for Innovation and consumer truths and excellent customer experiences
