Job Title: DevOps Engineer with Java Development Experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Java development to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our software development processes, enhancing system reliability, and automating deployment pipelines. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software products.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java-based applications to accelerate the software delivery process.
2. Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
3. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
4. Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability through proactive infrastructure management and optimization.
5. Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, infrastructure, and performance.
7. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in all aspects of DevOps processes.
8. Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
9. Document processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.
10. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Java development.
3. Strong programming skills in Java and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Groovy.
4. In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
5. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
6. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
7. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
8. Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts.
9. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
10. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification in DevOps or relevant cloud technologies.
2. Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
3. Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
4. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
