We provide businesses of all sizes with end-to-end energy management solutions, from energy management software, initial feasibility assessments and energy audits to securing grant approvals, project upgrades, and delivering verified savings. As we expand, we are looking for a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer / Chief Revenue Officer (CFO/CRO) to take ownership of both our financial management and revenue generation. This crucial leadership role requires someone who can not only manage the finance function but also drive commercial strategy, offering strategic financial advice to the CEO and Founder. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a scaling business, combining financial expertise with a strong commercial focus. This is a remote role, though candidates must be based in Ireland and available for company events and in-person meetings. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: Own and manage the companys finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management, while providing strategic advice to the CEO and Founder on business performance and growth opportunities. Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, including pricing models, business development, and revenue stream optimisation, with a strong commercial focus on profitability. Financial Reporting & Investor Relations: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders and investors. Provide regular updates and strategic insights to the board, ensuring clear and transparent communication. Operational & Business Strategy: Partner with the leadership team to align financial goals with broader business objectives, providing input on high-level decision-making, business strategy, and long-term growth plans. Cash Flow & Risk Management: Manage the companys cash flow, working capital, and overall financial risk, ensuring that the company is well-capitalised for growth and sustainable success. Required Skills & Experience: 8-10 years of experience in senior financial and commercial roles (CFO, CRO, or equivalent), with a proven track record in scaling businesses and driving revenue. Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial management skills and strategic commercial expertise. Experience in SaaS, energy, or similar high-growth sectors, with a clear understanding of pricing strategies, margin optimisation, and revenue models. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and board members. A highly commercial mindset, able to identify and act on new revenue opportunities, while balancing risk and profitability.
