We are seeking an experienced and proactive Field Supervisor (Repairs & Maintenance)to oversee the maintenance operations of our residential properties in Dublin. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the day-to-day maintenance operations of all Iveagh Trust properties. Support with the recruitment and on-boarding of a new in-house maintenance team Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks. Coordinate and manage emergency repairs, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to budgets. Develop and manage the Inventory budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and building codes. Implement and promote best practices in maintenance operations. Address tenant concerns and requests related to maintenance, providing excellent customer service. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies and practices. General Ensure confidentiality on all matters and information obtained during the course of employment. Present and act in a professional manner at all times. Be very approachable with a positive attitude. Be a team player, provide support for other team members if and when the need arises. Adopt an approach of continuous learning and personal development. Any other duties consistent with your role. Qualifications & Knowledge/Expertise Essential Proven experience in a similar role within the housing or property management sector. Relevant qualification in facilities management, engineering, or a related field (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree). Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities. A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between properties as required. Desirable Skills: Membership of a relevant professional body Experience in managing maintenance for residential properties or housing associations. Knowledge of eco-friendly and sustainable maintenance practices.
