This is your opportunity to bring your skillset and passion together. Strata Financial is looking for a Bookkeeper / Trainee Accountant to join our dynamic Music Department. Youll work directly with some of Irelands best-known artists, bands, and creative professionals, supporting them behind the scenes to ensure their finances are well looked after so they can concentrate on their creative process of making great music. Youll be working under the guidance of an experienced team at Strata Financial, one of Irelands most trusted financial firms to the creative industry. Youll gain invaluable, hands-on experience in music finance, tour budgeting, royalty tracking, international tax, and everything in between. This isnt your typical accounting role you wont be stuck crunching numbers in isolation. You'll be part of a tight-knit team supporting world-class creative talent and on occasion be needed on site at concerts and festivals. What Youll Be Doing Managing bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of music and entertainment clients Processing invoices, receipts, payroll, and bank reconciliations using cloud-based software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) Assisting with VAT, tax returns, and financial statements Helping prepare tour budgets, cashflows, and royalty reports Liaising directly with artists, managers, and agents to ensure accurate financial tracking Supporting senior accountants and managers in client meetings and presentations Learning the ropes of music accounting, tour accounting, and international reporting Who You Are Someone interested in pursuing a career in accounting with an ambition to study (ACCA, Accounting Technicians etc) Prior experience in bookkeeping, finance admin, or accounting (12 years ideal, but not essential) A love or deep interest in music, entertainment, or the creative industries Highly organised, detail-focused, and tech-savvy especially with cloud accounting platforms Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal professionally with creative clients Curious, collaborative, and eager to grow in a fast-moving, niche area of finance Why Join Strata?
