We have an opportunity for a Food Safety and Quality Manager to join Doyles Veg Prep. This role is responsible for providing Food Safety & Quality support at each area of Production; Storage and Transport; including supplier, processing, product management. The main duties of this role include, but are not limited to: Implementation, and Management of Food Safety Management Systems in accordance with current legislation, and to prescribed standards. Lead internal HACCP team and management of standards through internal auditing programme. Co-ordination with Regulatory Authorities (HSE, FSAI) / Legal compliance, including regulatory, 3rd party and customer audits and inspections. Management of supplier and product approval protocol Ensure alignment of Management Team with FS&Q objectives Definition and Management of finished product quality Conduct Audits of FSMS compliance and resolve issues with the team Ensure Food Safety training requirements are up to date. Managing the review of food safety training materials to ensure training programmes meet standard requirements. Satisfactory resolution of FSQ operational issues and Consumer Complaints Ensuring site hygiene, and pest control standards are maintained. Reporting on FSQ performance against targets. Key Relationships: Management Team Musgrave Team Operations Customers Contractors The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: Science/ Food Science Qualification Essential Min 3-5 years technical Quality management experience HACCP/Food Safety Management systems knowledge. Experience in implementing and managing QMS Flexibility, quick learner, problem solver, good communication and good organisational skills. Full Drivers License and access to own car is required Approved to work in the EU.
