Job title : HSEEQ Advisor

Work place : Dolphin Drilling Limited in our Aberdeen Office

We are currently looking for a highly experienced HSEEQ Advisor to join our team. Reporting directly to the SVP HSEEQ, the role is permanent and the successful candidate will coordinate day-to-day issues within HSEEQ for operational MOUs. The successful candidate will satisfy the following requirements:

Role Requirements:

  • Participate in implementing and maintaining a good HSE culture in Dolphin Drilling.
  • Undertake duties designated for the HSEEQ Department as described in the Company Management System.
  • Provide advice and support to Operations Management & MOU personnel on all HSEEQ issues.
  • Provide advice and support to MOUs in lay-up and reactivating of MOUs.
  • Evaluate HSEEQ data, coordinate action (improvement) according to this.
  • Prepare HSEEQ related input to internal and external reports as deemed necessary.
  • Participate and lead, where required, in incident investigations and close-out meetings.
  • Advise management on quality issues, offshore legislation and industry best practice.
  • Liaison with Client HSEEQ and operational representatives.
  • Carry out and coordinate offshore/onshore audits as per the audit schedule.
  • Carry out the duties of onshore emergency response as necessary.
  • Act as Technical Authority for HSEEQ related standards for the Competence Assurance Management System.
  • Participate in the HSEEQ Department on-call duty rota if required.

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University degree or relevant experience in a health & safety role.
  • Relevant experience within HSEEQ and Compliance related matters.
  • Good knowledge of the ISM Code, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Previous experience offshore in a operational role is preferred.
  • Sound general knowledge of the offshore industry and contact with regulatory authorities.
  • Valid offshore survival and medical.

Work hours Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
