Post Summary The Library of Trinity College Dublin seeks to appoint a Library Educational Outreach and Civic Engagement Manager on a specific purpose contract. The role is to develop and implement a programme of activities and supports that will promote equity, diversity and inclusion in the Library of Trinity College Dublin. The post holder will work across projects and services to build new opportunities for educational outreach and civic engagement in the Library and across Trinity College Dublin. They will develop relationships with key stakeholders in the University and externally, including schools, non-government organisations, charities, the voluntary sector and the broader Library sector. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose of this employment is to work on developing and implementing a programme of activities and supports that will promote equity, diversity and inclusion in the Library of Trinity College Dublin. Working under the Head of Library Communications, you will develop an educational outreach and civic engagement programme in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including various College departments and services, to advance outreach and engagement initiatives. The activities for your role are funded by the 'Fidelity Europe Foundation'. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis, as it is expected that your expertise and associated activities will be completed within a finite period. The funding is not part of the core funding of the university and will cease in a finite period therefore termination of this contract will occur upon completion of the work in which you are engaged, or if the funding stream is terminated or withdrawn by the funding agency. Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 2 Salary Scale (€57,270 - €67,293 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales.
