Network & Security Manager

As the Manager of Networks & Security, you will lead the planning, implementation, and management of network and security systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing service delivery. Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, you will oversee a team of specialists and engineers across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in all network and security operations across locations.
- Implement national and international standards and best practices in network and security services.
- Monitor safety and performance, taking corrective action as needed to maintain compliance.
- Provide necessary equipment and infrastructure in a secure and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and maintain safety and security policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain performance of network and security systems, taking timely action for improvement.
- Stay updated on international developments and best practices in network and security for informed decision-making.
- Evaluate and optimize ATM network infrastructure for future business requirements.
- Manage budgetary and regulatory performance targets for the network and security domain.
- Oversee telecommunications providers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage life cycle of network and security assets efficiently.
- Provide technical training and development for staff in line with best practices and regulations.
- Manage cybersecurity for all ATM systems and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.
- Represent Technical Services in various committees and fora.
- Monitor cybersecurity activities of relevant national and international bodies and provide insights to Technical Services.
- Coordinate resources efficiently while meeting safety and security standards and financial targets.
- Enhance incident response and recovery processes.
- Provide input for strategic planning and development of corporate goals.
- Collaborate with other Technical Services Managers for integration and optimization.
- Maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Develop strategic options for network and security in consultation with other Directorates.
- Establish and monitor service levels for network and security.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures and manage health and safety issues.
- Develop and implement business plans for network and security.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum five years of senior management experience in a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity best practices and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with regulatory authorities.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and management systems.
- Understanding of national and international regulatory frameworks applicable to ATM/ANS.
This role will undergo regular reviews and the successful candidate will be compensated with a starting salary of €111,000 and 30 days of annual leave per year. The standard working week is 41 hours gross, with flexibility as needed to fulfill duties effectively.
