Key Role Overview:

As our Lead Nurse, you will play a crucial role in elevating our nursing services to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Strategic Leadership : Overseeing the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring efficient resource use, and maintaining rigorous record-keeping systems.
  • Team Management : Directing strategic staffing, including rota preparation, leave planning, and assisting recruitment and other HR functions.
  • Staff Development : Conducting appraisals, overseeing training programs, and leading nursing team meetings.
  • Clinical Governance : Involvement in quality assurance standards, and CHKS accreditation preparedness.
  • Hands-On Nursing : Providing direct patient care as part of the nursing team, leading the way in patient care and service safety.
  • Communication and Networking : Facilitating effective communication within the team and with external entities, and attending key meetings.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Registered Nurse with NMBI registration.
  • Proven experience in nursing leadership and management.
  • Strong clinical and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
  • Commitment to evidence-based nursing care.
