Senior Mechanical Engineer Construction About the Company We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer with large scale M&E experience in Connacht . This an opportunity to work with one of Europes largest engineering companies who have a large foothold in the Irish Power, Pharma and Data Centre market. They have seen massive growth over the last 12 months and have a forward work load for the coming 5 years. They have recently secured a number of large programs and this client is seeing major growth in demand for their services. They have a reputation across Europe as being one of the most successful in project delivery and are currently involved in some of Irelands largest infrastructure projects. Specializing in Mechanical and Electrical Project Management, they have become a European leader in large scale industrial projects. About the Position Working on the senior management team, you will become the Senior Electrical Project Manager on a number of large data centre related construction/engineering projects across Leinster. You will have a full responsibility of your own projects and the responsibility to develop a team around you. You will work closely with the client to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Experience/Requirements Within this role you will be involved in Project Management at a senior level Team leading and team management across the program Manage team meetings and progress status updates. Review of exiting plans and update for the client where needed. Monitor the schedules and time scales regarding design and delivery. Manage all related disciplines involved in the program. Work with procurement to ensure all projects are material ready. Deliver information to the client in a timely manner Generate regular report on the project status. Cost, revenue and cash flow management. Liaise with local authorities on planning issues Experience in Mechanical & Electrical Projects For this role you are required to have; A min or 5 years planning experience. A related Engineering qualification. Trade experience is welcomed Ideally you will have experience in large Utilities projects Experience in Mechanical and Electrical Projects A self-starter and the ability to manage multiple projects as any given time. Experience with P6 Team management experience Multi site experience is desired Remuneration Package The client offers an excellent package along with benefits. They also offer pension and healthcare.
