This requires incredible passion and empathy for people, but also the skills to demonstrate expertise, finesse and initiative throughout the sales process. Your aim is to deliver an extraordinary experience for our customers, which in turn contributes to the success of our company.

We are currently hiring for aJewellery Sales Consultant. Our brilliant Heirloom team manages the sales of our luxury heirloom collection of engagement, wedding, eternity and right hand rings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an incredible experience for our customers during pre-booked appointments and for walk-in customers, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge and jewellery expertise.

  • Become an expert in the Chupi product offerings and serve as a go-to source for clients who want more information concerning our products.

  • Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with our clients to generate repeat business and referrals.

  • Understand our customers’ needs and offer solutions to them through the company’s services or products.

  • Support our Virtual Consultants with product queries. You may also be required to conduct some heirloom appointments virtually when necessary.

  • Following up on sale leads, contacting customers and giving them the support and after care required.

  • Administrating customer bespoke orders

  • Ensure all our Chupi pieces are always beautifully presented and that quality, visual merchandising and hygiene standards are perfect.

  • Respect and ensure customer privacy and confidentiality at all times, both during their in-store experience and post purchase.

  • Comfortably work towards your sales KPIs aiming to achieve optimal sales conversion rates.

  • Liaise closely with our logistics and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels and controls, and provide updates on in-store sales trends and bestsellers.

  • Support in-store alignment with digital marketing activities.

  • Provide regular reports with customer feedback, store goals and performance to the Store Manager

Your profile

Requirements:

  • A number of years experience working in high end retail, preferably luxury retail, is essential

  • Jewellery retail experience, silversmith or goldsmith training and/or gemstone knowledge are a distinct advantage.

  • Flexibility in working hours and an ability to work weekends is a must.

  • Working knowledge of Retail software such as Shopify and inventory management ERP systems such as DEAR would be an advantage.

  • Experience working with the Google suite is also beneficial.
