Our client is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their team finance team at their Head Office in Dublin City. Responsibilities include the following: Working as part of Consolidation team on preparation of consolidated monthly accounts including income statement, balance sheet and cashflow. Assisting with quarterly and annual SEC filings. Assisting with preparation of budgets and forecasts. Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting and reporting requirements, including company policy, Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC requirements. Ensure internal controls are in place as they pertain to Hyperion and the companys consolidation processes are functioning as intended, and that any weaknesses or deviations from internal controls are timely acted upon. Perform analytical review of movements of key reporting units provide concise explanations on trends and variances. Liaising with global reporting units to ensure financial information is timely, accurate and complete. Responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to reporting processes to create. efficiencies and reduce timeframes for deliverables in the financial close and reporting processes. Assessment of the impact on the Group of new US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) standards. Assist in the coordination of the annual audit and quarterly review activities performed by the external auditors. Completion of various ad hoc reporting and project requests including integration of newly acquired businesses. Requirements: Qualified accountant (0-2 years PQE). Excellent attention to detail and ability to check accuracy of own work. Ability to priorities time correctly and provide clear direction to team members.
