Job Title: Ecommerce (Shopify) & Social Media Coordinator Location: Dervan's Fashions, Loughrea, Co. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Online Sales & Social Media Coordinator to manage our online sales, ensure our website is maintained daily, and enhance our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a keen understanding of digital marketing, a flair for digital design work and have a passion for fashion. Key Responsibilities: (including but not limited to) 1. Website Management: - Daily update the website with new products, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and stock levels. - Gain and maintain a in depth knowledge of stocks in store to ensure they are reflected online. - Create, develop and deploy engaging website content creating a consistent look and feel throughout all website and social media content. - Copyedit and proofread all web content. - Preparation of advertising material for use online such as banner ads etc. - Ensure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference. - Monitor website performance and user experience, making recommendations for improvements. - Working closely with management to deliver well-structured content across all relevant digital channels and assist with the development of a digital strategy. - Coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock imagery and brand representation. 2. Online Sales Coordination: - Oversee online sales processes, ensuring smooth transactions and exceptional customer service, dealing with sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner. - Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. - Collaborate with management to design promotional campaigns and special offers. 3. Social Media Management: - Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and engage with our audience. - Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). - Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to adapt our strategy as needed. - Respond to customer enquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner. 4. Reporting & Analysis: - Prepare regular reports on online sales performance, website traffic, and social media engagement. - Use analytics tools to track key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly. - Analysing new digital trends and assessing whether they would be beneficial for the business and identifying areas of possible business improvement. 5. Telephone Sales & Enquiries: - Handling telephone enquiries from customers and suppliers. - Delegating calls to relevant departments. Qualifications: - Previous experience in online sales, e-commerce, or social media management, preferably in retail. - A strong flair for digital design work. - Strong understanding of fashion trends and customer preferences. - Proficient in using social media platforms and analytics tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. - Previous knowledge of website management (e.g. Shopify) is a plus. - Previous retail floor experience would be beneficial.
