Medforce are seeking both Staff Grade and Senior Occupational Therapists for this post Location:Kilkenny Position:Staff Grade or Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) Service Area:Childrens Disability Services Contract:6 month contract with a view to extend, Monday - Friday, 35 hours p/week Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a difference in childrens lives? Our client's busy Childrens Disability Service in Kilkenny is looking for both Staff Grade and Senior OTs to join them in providing high-quality care to children with a range of developmental needs. In this role, youll assess, plan, and deliver essential occupational therapy for children with complex needs. As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, youll work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialists to develop holistic, child-centered care plans. Whether youre an experienced OT ready to step into a Senior role or a Staff Grade OT eager to grow your career, this role offers a challenging and fulfilling opportunity to make a lasting impact. Staff Gradeswill be offered extensive training and induction coupled with excellent support and supervision. Seniorswill take on complex cases, provide mentorship to junior staff, and collaborate on innovative service development initiatives. Requirements: Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU. Experience: For Staff Grade, experience working with children in a disability setting is preferred but not required. For Senior Grade, a minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in a pediatric or disability setting is essential. Skills: Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a compassionate, family-centered approach.
