Health & Safety Manager Salary: €65,000 Job Type: Full time, permanent Experience: 3-5 years' required This senior role is responsible for driving health and safety strategies and compliance, ensuring the site meets the highest safety standards. The role offers the opportunity to lead significant H&S programs and collaborate with teams across various departments. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of Health & Safety Management Systems to ISO 45001 standards. Ensure SEVESO and COMAH compliance, focusing on Major Accident Prevention and Chemical Management Programs. Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response programs. Manage contractor safety programs, including construction and maintenance operations. Lead EHS working groups and champion the development of a positive health and safety culture. Essential Requirements: A Higher Diploma or Degree in Health & Safety or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Health and Safety role within a manufacturing or production facility (food, chemical, or similar industries). Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, SEVESO/COMAH regulations, and health and safety systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Health & Safety Officer Salary: € Job Type: Full time, permanent Experience: 1-2 years' required Our client, a leading production facility, is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to support day-to-day safety operations and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in risk assessments, safety inspections, and training programs while assisting the Health & Safety Manager. Key Responsibilities: Promote reporting of incidents, safety concerns, and near misses, and ensure corrective actions are taken. Develop, implement, and improve safety systems and processes. Lead and support risk assessments for tasks, processes, and equipment. Coordinate and deliver health and safety training programs. Conduct daily site walks and report findings to management. Essential Requirements: A relevant BSc degree in a related science subject, plus a basic safety qualification. 1-2 years' experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A good understanding of safety and process engineering, plant operations, and risk assessments. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
