Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper We are currently hiring for an experienced Bookkeeper for our client based in Dundalk, This is a great opportunity to join an established company within the interior design industry. The ideal candidate will have 3- 5 years experience in a similar role and be proficient with the software Sage. Key Responsibilities: Managing obligations to suppliers, clients and third-party vendors. Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts, raising purchase orders and entering data into accounting software and databases and filing digital copies. Prepare, process and submit VAT returns. Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling payments, and resolving discrepancies. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure precise transaction recording. Ensure compliance with all Customs & Excise, Legal, Fiscal, and best practice frameworks. Collaborate with other team members to support financial decision-making. Processing monthly payroll. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations. Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments. Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. Advanced knowledge of Excel and Sage is essential. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
