Global Hedge Product Development Lead, Assistant Vice President Location: Dublin, Ireland Who we are looking for We are looking for a business analyst with deep sector knowledge and experience in Hedge Funds administration to lead the development of new products and capabilities for Hedge Fund and Hybrid clients we serve globally. Our core fund administration capabilities spans middle office, core accounting, investor relations and reporting and is powered by our enterprise technology platform - Alpha across front office and ancillary capabilities. You will be leading one or more of the identified strategic workstreams from design to operating model development and deployment. To be successful, you will work across our client facing, product, global delivery, technology and Alpha platform teams to ensure we are developing new products and services that continue to delight our clients. The successful candidate must be highly organized, possess strong analytic skills, ability to operate independently, good communication skills and an ability to move seamlessly between multiple projects/implementations with changing client requirements. The role will include executing development work for clients specific implementations and as part of the broader private markets offering with all clients. Why this role is important to us The Global Hedge business forms a significant portion of the Global Alternatives revenue stream. We are one of the largest Fund Administration provider globally with Assets under Administration in excess of USD 4 trillion dollars. To ensure we continue to exceed our clients' expectations, we need to ensure we continue to invest in our core platforms strategically and continue to deliver leading product and service capabilities. What you will be responsible for Lead and/or perform the execution of specified Global Hedge development programs, including partnering with other members of the client facing, product, global delivery (operations) and technology teams. Help create assigned development plans, manage development execution, coordinate requirements gathering, translating and participating in the agile development process, testing and roll-out of capabilities Facilitate program governance including compliance with policies, best practices, oversight of issues, risks, audit and compliance items in support of program reporting. Participate as product owner or assigned role for agile development programs including organizing program, status tracking, execution status meetings, issue escalation/resolution, and communicating status to internal and external stakeholders. Participate in development of transition plan to migrate new capabilities into our operating model; and addressing the administrative aspects of establishing the product or service offering Develop a deep understanding of the current technology and operating models within State Street supporting and affecting Global Hedge fund clients. This knowledge will increase your ability to create effective plans and execution of development. Collaborate with other teams to share approaches, develop best practices and improve the teams capabilities to successfully execute and deliver new capabilities or better serve clients. Support annual product assessment, planning and funding prioritization activities as requested by Manager. Support development of the Global Hedge Product roadmap as directed by Manager. Ability to demonstrate flexibility and successfully navigate changes in requirements / client feedback. Demonstrate the 'Risk Excellence' culture in your behavior and a high level of Code of Conduct Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degreeon business, accounting or related field. At least 5 years' experience gained either in a fund administration background or related roles where you can clearly demonstrate knowledge of the Global Hedge product offering. Project Management skills and/or certifications will be a plus. Experience in business requirements analysis.
