Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Management Accounts: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing insight into business performance. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. Cost Accounting: Assist in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, contributing to effective financial decision-making. Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes. Process Improvement: Identify and propose improvements to accounting processes and controls, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Ad-hoc Support: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by the finance team and senior management. Qualifications & Requirements: Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, with a strong desire to continue your professional development. Previous experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Desired Skills & Competencies: Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, suggest solutions, and implement effective changes. Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
