What is the Opportunity?

An exciting opportunity to join the Regulatory Reporting Change Team, a sub team within RRCO, is responsible for the development and delivery of strategic reporting solutions to meeting new, and amended, regulatory reporting requirements and to deliver of Bank change projects across regulatory reporting processes. With the ever ongoing Regulatory & Bank change requirements this role is essential in alleviating the already huge workload on the BAU team.

The primary objective of this role is to lead/ support the development and delivery of the relevant current and new regulatory reports to the highest of standards.

In this role you will
  • Lead or support the design & delivery of reporting solutions for new and ad-hoc reporting, engaging relevant partners and functions.
  • Build and maintain the control framework for relevant returns' covering; interpretation of Reporting requirements / Basis of Preparation / Process Documentation.
  • Challenge reporting solutions and data sources and drive operational improvement.
  • Proactive Data Analysis and Interrogation and looking to solve data quality issues.

  • Experience and knowledge of Prudential & Statistical regulatory returns
  • Demonstrated experience of leading delivery of complex regulatory information or MI using large datasets.
  • Strong interpretative and analytical skills with the ability to constructively challenge both outputs and processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle a range of competing priorities and tight delivery timelines.
Essential Qualifications

CoRep reporting experience within the banking / financial services industry is preferable.

The Regulatory Reporting, Controls and Operations (RRCO) team sits within the Group Financial Control function within Group Finance. RRCO is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of supervisory and statistical regulatory reports, for multiple licenced entities, to multiple regulators in a controlled, timely and efficient manner. It is also accountable for the delivery of non-routine regulatory requests and the development of new regulatory reporting requirements.

RRCO operates in a regulated environment which demands the highest of standards. Submission of high quality and timely regulatory returns is a fundamental requirement of the Group's banking licence. RRCO is a professional, proactive & dynamic team with significant engagement with colleagues in all key functions such as business partners, finance, risk and treasury to ensure the accuracy of returns.
