Service Line: Tech & Ops Our Technical and Operations team are an integral part of the Audit & Assurance business . They provide an extensive range of audit quality, technical accounting, audit innovation and operation al services to our Audit & Assurance pr ofessionals within the practice . About the opportunity As an Audit Technical Senior Manager, your role will entail a variety of activities which will include some of the following: Performing reviews on audit consultations that the central team receives; Performing in flight and post archive reviews of audit files; Preparing and presenting learning and professional updates to the audit practice; Analysing results of file reviews to identify themes and trends in our audit practice; Monitoring of audit quality initiatives and related communications; Participate in data gathering, including interviews, and analysis of that data; Prepare management information and reporting to Deloitte network firms; Liaise with other functions (operations, talent, learning, Deloitte Network teams) Represent the audit quality team within the firm and foster an open and consultative culture. Roll out of latest auditing and assurance new and revised standards About you Post qualification experience in an audit practice with a record of successfully managing multiple stakeholders; The ability to understand the needs of our stakeholders and to design initiatives to change processes and behaviours to improve audit quality; Ability to research and practically apply technical auditing standards and regulations; Ability to critically analyse information provided and prepare responses to queries; A proven record of commitment to professional and client service excellence; Ability to delegate and coach others in the team when required; A high level of integrity and trust with confidential information; The ability to work within a small team, understand their role in the team and be flexible to changing demands; Ability to work unsupervised as part of a team; Approachable and highly professional manner, with all levels of staff within the organisation.
