OT/IT Specialist

As an OT/IT Specialist at DataLogiX, you will be responsible for collaborating with our clients to understand their IT requirements in manufacturing networks. You will help design and implement IT systems and solutions to meet their requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure integration of IT/OT systems with existing systems. You will conduct system testing, validation, and documentation to ensure system reliability and performance. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders and internal teams on operational technology best practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

· Perform analysis of the architecture and infrastructure of Industrial Control Systems (SCADA)

· Design and implement IT/OT systems and solutions to meet project requirements

· Conduct system assessments and project reviews

· Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure integration of IT systems with existing systems

· Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation to ensure system reliability and performance

· Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders and internal teams on operational technology best practices and industry standards

· Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and regulations in the operational technology field

Requirements

· Degree / Diploma in a computer-related discipline preferred

· CCNA preferred

· Minimum 3+ years of experience in OT environment

· Basic understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA systems as well as GxP and non GxP requirements

· Good working knowledge of Networking, Firewalls and Virtualization concepts

· Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP technologies

· Experience with Windows Server platforms, Active Directory and Group Policy

· Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
