QEHS Officer-Cavan Are you a Health & Safety professional with 1 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment? Our client is looking for an QEHS Officer to join their team in Cavan, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and H&S excellence. What's on offer: Salary-up to 45k DOE Bonus Structure Training Budget 5% Pension Progression Opportunities The Ideal Candidate: Do you have a Degree Qualification in Health & Safety or similar discipline? Do you have experience in a Manufacturing Environment? Do you have an in-depth knowledge of ISO Standards? Are you focused on driving a culture of continuous improvement? Do you have experience managing & documenting Risk Assessments? The role: Drive EHS continuous improvements initiatives. Manage, develop and provide EHS training as required to all employees, contractors & visitors. Coordinate environmental management programmes, driving continuous improvement initiatives including but not limited to energy reduction, waste, etc. Identify and address site EHS issues and concerns. Support and maintain effective document control systems for the EHS department. Monitor and maintain all EHS policies and procedures and the company safety statement in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Lead and manage the risk assessment programme. Keep up to date with all relevant legal changes or developments and ensure compliance in a timely manner. Carry out regular audits/inspections to measure EHS compliance with site procedures and legal requirements. Conform to the requirements of the quality and environmental management system.
