Reporting to the Head of Shopper Insights & MACE Marketing Manager, the Marketing Loyalty Programme Analyst will have responsibility for the provision of reports related to the BWG Foods rewards programmes and analysis and interpretation of the data available in order to provide actionable insights to the business. All analysis needs to be carried out in a professional, organised and timely manner.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsibility for production and circulation of monthly and annual reports by brand, both internal for BWG Management and external for retailers, to ensure on-going measurement of rewards programmes for each participating brand.
  • Responsibility for the production of reports relating to promotional activity and sharing of same with internal stakeholders. Use the data to provide insights and recommendations for future promotional activity.
  • Work closely with the BWG Rewards Programme Manager to develop and maximise the rewards programmes across all brands.
  • Work closely and effectively with other internal BWG functions including Trading team and the Promotions team in particular; IT; Retail Operations Advisors (ROAs), and Regional Development Managers (RDMs); and also managing relationships with relevant suppliers to the rewards function. Build and maintain professional working relationships with the nationwide network of BWG retailers.
  • Support the brand teams, working closely with the BWG Rewards Programme Manager, with particular focus on member recruitment and member engagement.
  • Managing Ad Hoc requests from ROAs and Retailers for store level rewards performance
  • Help implement any seasonal activations and brand-specific activity
  • Responsibility for the marketing of selected Food and Beverage projects as required
  • Participate on project teams as required

The suitable candidate should:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail environment but not essential.
  • A 3rd level marketing qualification, or equivalent
  • Strong Analytical & Interpretive skills
  • Highly Organised & Methodical with high level of attention to detail
  • Expertise in planning, prioritizing and goal setting including the ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency and create detailed action plans
  • Excellent IT Skills with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and high-level proficiency in Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Full clean driving licence
