The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXMs Global Product and Technology organization. SiriusXMs new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, Whats the Opportunity? The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for maintenance and new feature development of the SiriusXM 360L application running on Android, Linux, and Windows platforms and used by our Automotive customers and internal SiriusXM teams for UI/UX trials written in C++ / Qt Framework. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of participating in an android SW development team, designing, implementing, and testing sophisticated software architectures, and will have been directly responsible for developing software. Office Location: Saint Stephens Green, Dublin 2 Hybrid Policy is Three days a weekin the office Key Responsibilities: Develop, document, and implement software for SAT and IP streaming audio and data in automotive environments. Manage the software development lifecycle, from feature definition to release and customer support. Analyze product requirements and design software that meets both internal and customer needs. Collaborate with software and cross-functional teams, participating in design and review sessions. Prepare application notes, manuals, and training materials for partners and end-users. Support end-users and address any issues post-release. Participate in lab and field testing, special projects, and UI software development. Provide regular updates to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelors in Software Engineering or equivalent experience required. Master Software Engineering is desired. 5+ or more years of expertise in software, framework, and application development for embedded consumer or automotive products. Proficiency with Qt/QML Framework. Experience with Android is a must, AAOS, and Linux. Familiarity with IDEs, compilers, CI/CD tools, and languages such asJava and JavaScriptis a must, C++, Rust, React Native, JSON, QT, Kotlin, and Flutter. Understanding of object-oriented methodologies, REST protocols, and agile processes. Experience with tools like GitHub and Jira. Strong communication, presentation skills, time management, multitasking, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
