ROLE TITLE: Senior Analyst, Planning REPORTS TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER Summary: Responsible for leading the Customer Capacity Availability dealing with Engineering day to day analysis about capacity availability, New Products Implementation and With Customer Service Team to analysed Order Entry x Available Capacity and With Manufacturing teams to Plan and Execution of the short term capacity utilisation. Employee assigned to this position will be responsible for the integration of supply chain activities leading to optimal customer service, product supply, inventory investment and cost. Will be responsible for providing organization, operation and control of the elements pertaining to the supply chain process at MGS Leixlip. Essential Functions: Qualification for this position is predicated not only on satisfactory performance of essential duties as outlined below, but also on compliance with general company policies and procedures and any other duties as assigned. Know and follow all the Company's safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures. Serve as a good role model to employees for safe work practices and behaviour by conducting yourself professionally, keeping in mind your own safety and the safety of others. Learn and master all necessary areas of the quality system. Link and drive the activities of the Supply Chain Department to ensure the timely receipt and scheduling of all resources are linked to the short- and long-term demands. Includes purchasing, planning, and scheduling activities to ensure that shipments meet customer demands. Direct the development, maintenance and accuracy of the master production schedule and the materials requirements plan. Develop, implement, and influence best practices in the discipline of customer service, forecasting, supply chain management, inventory management. Analyze trade-offs and issues impacting production, materials planning, scheduling, customer service and warehouse. Develop and implement production and inventory optimization strategies for product promotions, new product introductions and discontinued products. Responsible for managing monthly labour and production metrics as it pertains to customer service, purchasing, warehouse and inventory management. Work closely with key suppliers to develop good inventory levels, delivery On time and In full customer orders and follow the root causes to improve when needed. Work closely with manufacturing to develop long-term capacity plan for manufacturing facility. Any other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of Production Planning as well as S&OP management and Capacity analysis. APICS Full Certification is a plus. Language Skills Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate the English language in a proficient manner. Computer Skills High knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point will be very important for this role as well as a good understanding and ability to perform tasks with other MS tools as well as Power BI. Previous work with iQMS ERP system is a plus. Proficient with computer-based methods and tools, knowledgeable in IT programs and Lean Manufacturing with strong procurement negotiating skills and a strong working knowledge of ERP systems. Math Skills Ability to learn, interpret, and apply statistics and analysis. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Travel Required to travel, both domestically and potentially internationally, for customer visits, supplier visits, and industry events. (up to 15%).
