CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce their partnership with Tusla Child and Family Agency. We are offering an exciting opportunity for Social Care Workers and Leaders Nationwide for a number of permanent positions.
The successful candidates will encourage the development of positive attachments through relationship building with the overall goal of providing a therapeutic environment for children and young people. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging the young people in the programme and on building rapport in support of developing relationships.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of Social Care professionals to deliver robust, holistic, trauma-informed care to the young people.
The Social Care Worker/Leader will have responsibility for working with Children and Young People, household activities, administration, teamwork, professional development, health and safety.
We are accepting applications for permanent positions across Limerick.
Successful candidates will:
- Have a full, manual Irish driving license
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience in Social Care (placement experience accepted)
- Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU.
or
- Hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be necessary)
or
- Be eligible for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence of application will be necessary)
and
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and ability) for proper discharge of the duties of office.
For the Social Care Leader positions, there is a requirement that a candidate must have a Minimum 2 years’ experience working with young people in a residential setting.
