Senior Pharmacist Opportunity in Dublin

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacist to join our agency team, working with the National Cancer Control Programme on a temporary contract.

About the Role

The National Cancer Control Programme is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering cancer services in 26 hospitals across Ireland. As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pharmaceutical plans, in line with national guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, promoting best practices within the organisation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid PSI registration as a pharmacist.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Residency in Ireland and eligibility to work without restriction.
  • Garda Vetting and International Police Clearance (if applicable).
