The Opportunity Due to continued growth and expansion within the Audit & Assurance division, the firm is seeking a highly skilled and commercially minded Director to lead a significant client portfolio, oversee departmental performance, and contribute to strategic business initiatives. You will play a key role in business development, team leadership, and quality assurance, helping shape the future of the firms audit practice. Key Responsibilities: Lead a substantial and varied client portfolio, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery. Drive business development initiatives, including cross-selling opportunities and managing tender processes for new clients. Provide strong technical oversight to ensure audits are delivered in line with professional standards, budgets, and deadlines. Oversee, mentor, and coach a team of professionals to support their technical, commercial, and personal development. Manage departmental budgets, KPIs, and performance objectives. Play an active role in strategic planning, contributing to firmwide initiatives and long-term growth. About You: ACA/ACCA qualified, with extensive experience at a senior level within a Top 20 accountancy practice. Proven ability to lead teams while managing multiple assignments across a diverse client base. Strong commercial acumen and client relationship management skills. Excellent technical knowledge of audit and assurance standards. Skilled communicator with strong leadership and people management abilities.
